About the position

The AI Engineering Consultant role at OneStream involves building and delivering AI capabilities and integrations into products within the OneStream platform. This position is crucial for bridging the gap between AI research and practical applications, focusing on enhancing existing products with AI functionalities. The consultant will work collaboratively with various teams to ensure the successful implementation of AI solutions that provide tangible value to users.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable AI integrations, applications, and services that enhance existing OneStream products with AI capabilities.
• Continuously learn best coding practices and the latest applications of AI in relevant domains.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across the full stack to ensure reliability of AI integrations.
• Participate and lead design sessions to decompose business problems into complex systems and interfaces that meet technical and user requirements.
• Develop both client-side and server-side components of applications.
• Rapidly prototype capabilities to demonstrate product-market-fit opportunities to stakeholders.
• Enable other developers and consulting partners to build AI capabilities on top of the AI offering.
• Lead and consult on AI customer implementations as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, data science, or a relevant combination of education and experience.
• 1-3 years of experience building and deploying production-level machine learning solutions or similar experience.
• 1-3 years of strong programming experience with languages such as Python, C++, C, CSharp, Java, Rust, or Go.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in delivery/consulting services.
• Experience with relational databases.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and cloud-based computing.
• Experience with data storytelling and Python data visualization packages (plotly, dash, seaborn, etc.).
