About the position

The AI Engineering Manager at Ford Pro is responsible for leading a team focused on delivering analytical models and AI solutions that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency. This role combines technical expertise in AI/ML with strategic leadership, ensuring that the team effectively collaborates with business stakeholders to address challenges and drive product innovation. The manager will also play a key role in developing the AI Engineering practice within the organization, mentoring team members, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business customers to understand challenges and develop AI/ML strategies.
• Define and communicate product vision and delivery with stakeholders.
• Identify and measure success of product efforts through goal setting and monitoring metrics.
• Support technical reviews of analytical methods and AI solutions.
• Drive AI products and services end-to-end in partnership with cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to advancing the AI Engineering and Data Science discipline through best practices and mentoring.
• Promote learning and development needs of the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Predictive Analytics, Statistics, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience as a senior technical lead in analytical discussions.
• 3+ years of experience with analytical methods and their application.
• 3+ years of experience using AI/ML and data science software (e.g., Python).
• 2+ years of experience leading and managing direct reports.

Nice-to-haves

• PhD Degree in Data Science, Predictive Analytics, or related field.
• Expertise in Advanced and Predictive Analytical Methods.
• Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Expertise in open source data science technologies such as Python, R, Spark, SQL.
