About the position

The AI Engineering Manager at Hewlett Packard is responsible for leading the ACS Software Development team in innovative areas such as Data Science and AI. This role involves managing interdisciplinary teams, driving the development of AI/ML solutions, and ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals. The position offers an opportunity to influence emerging business processes and technologies in a high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage an interdisciplinary team of engineers, data scientists, and solution architects.
• Drive the creation and execution of AI/ML solutions and roadmaps.
• Measure team impact and set clear expectations and goals.
• Guide technical projects and provide leadership in engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with Product Management and stakeholders to build optimal solutions.
• Participate in technical designs and influence organizational strategy.

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience as a people manager.
• 5+ years of experience in Data Science, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or AI/ML algorithm development.
• Demonstrated experience in recruiting and managing technical teams.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with cloud-based systems and service-oriented development.
• Familiarity with microservice architecture and standard development tools.
