About the position

As a Data Scientist-Manager at PwC, you will lead a team focused on leveraging advanced analytics and AI techniques to drive insights and support clients in making informed business decisions. Your role will involve managing projects, mentoring team members, and ensuring the successful execution of AI and GenAI solutions. You will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets, developing AI architectures, and collaborating with clients to address their business challenges while upholding professional standards and fostering a culture of innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage development teams in building AI and GenAI solutions.
  • Analyze and identify linkages and interactions within entire systems.
  • Take ownership of projects, ensuring successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion.
  • Mentor team members and encourage skill development outside their comfort zones.
  • Document and analyze business processes for AI opportunities, including gathering requirements and developing solution approaches.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business problems and select appropriate models for AI use cases.
  • Design AI architectures for clients, specifically for plugin-based solutions and custom applications.
  • Manage teams to process unstructured and structured data for LLMs.
  • Direct data engineers and data scientists to deliver efficient solutions.
  • Facilitate executive-level presentations to showcase GenAI solutions and development progress.

Requirements

  • Senior level experience in AI and data manipulation.
  • Proficiency in Python and related libraries (e.g., Pandas, Keras).
  • Experience with machine learning and deep learning techniques.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with CI/CD processes and Git version control.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with analytical techniques such as optimization and vectorization.
  • Familiarity with prompt engineering and RAG workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with common LLM development frameworks.
