About the position

The Ninth, a new brand incubator founded by Suzy Batiz, is seeking a skilled Software Engineer specializing in AI Machine Learning. This role focuses on building efficient, data-driven artificial intelligence systems to enhance proprietary automation capabilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong programming skills, a deep understanding of machine learning, and the ability to analyze and organize large datasets effectively.

Responsibilities

• Build efficient, data-driven artificial intelligence systems.
• Design, develop, and research machine learning systems, models, and schemes.
• Utilize programming skills in R, Java, and Python to develop software.
• Create algorithms using advanced mathematics and statistics.
• Transform and convert data science prototypes into functional models.
• Train and retrain machine learning systems and models as necessary.
• Interpret test results and performance metrics using advanced analytical skills.
• Develop creative solutions and approaches to complex problems.
• Refine prototypes and troubleshoot performance issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering and machine learning.
• Advanced math and statistics skills, including linear algebra, calculus, and Bayesian statistics.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, C, R, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and libraries, including the Natural Language Toolkit.
• Understanding of data structures, data modeling, and software architecture.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and Google Cloud Services.
