About the position

The AI-ML Data Automation Engineer at Corteva Agriscience is responsible for developing and maintaining automated processes and applications that enhance operational efficiency within the organization. This entry-level position focuses on leveraging AI and machine learning technologies to optimize manufacturing, supply chain, and research and development processes. The role involves collaboration with various stakeholders to design AI-based workflows and promote automation competencies across the company.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and maintaining automated processes, applications, and system architecture in partnership with functional leaders and teams.
  • Support business stakeholders and developers in designing and developing automated processes, AI-based workflows, chatbots, data pipelines, integrations, and interfaces.
  • Collaborate on end-to-end automation solutions using AI technologies such as machine learning, natural language processing, and computer vision.
  • Help establish a knowledge transfer (KT) process for bringing AI/automation capabilities in-house.
  • Assist in promoting AI and automation competencies throughout the organization.
  • Apply communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to the software development life cycle in assigned areas.
  • Create and maintain documentation related to core IT and automated processes, software and business logic, software configuration, and the infrastructure supporting automation initiatives.
  • Monitor and contribute to the team's ability to meet or exceed identified outcomes and KPIs.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in a technical discipline.
  • Basic understanding of Lean/Six Sigma/Agile process optimization approaches.
  • Training or coursework related to AI/machine learning.
  • Knowledge in IT/OT, Manufacturing/Supply Chain, Product Delivery organizations.
  • Familiarity with automation platforms such as Blue Prism, Microsoft Power Platform, Azure Automation, UiPath, and Automation Anywhere.
  • Understanding of software integrations, APIs, connectors, business logic, decision automation, and UI creation.
  • Basic knowledge of ERP design, implementation, and integration.
  • Proficiency or willingness to learn one or more contemporary scripting/programming languages (e.g., C#/.NET, PowerShell, Python, Java).

  • Familiarity with information management practices, SDLC, ITSM, ITIL, agile, and lean methodologies.
