Parsons Federal Solutions is seeking an AI/ML Solutions Engineering Intern to support the design, development, and implementation of AI-driven solutions. This internship provides hands-on experience in applying AI techniques to real-world problems, contributing to projects that enhance business operations and decision-making processes.

  • Collect, preprocess, and analyze large datasets to support the training of AI models
  • Assist in developing and training machine learning models using relevant algorithms and techniques
  • Work closely with different departments and the AI Specialist to understand requirements and integrate AI solutions into existing workflows
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning and suggest innovative techniques to improve tool performance
  • Help maintain comprehensive documentation of AI models, processes, and results for future reference and continuous improvement
  • Perform other team-supportive job-related duties, as assigned.
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, R, or Java
  • Understanding of data preprocessing (e.g. SQL, Hadoop, Spark), feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) for deploying AI solutions is a plus
  • Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git
  • Experience with Bash or other shell programming environment
  • Familiarity with Linux is a plus
  • Experience in developing AI and machine learning models is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions
  • Enthusiasm for exploring new AI technologies and methodologies to improve existing processes
  • Security+ certification is desired but not required
