About the position

Infinity Advanced Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer (SWE) to join our Computer Network Knowledge (CNK) team, which is dedicated to providing cloud-based analytics solutions for federal and private customers in the intelligence and defense sectors. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in large data set analysis, machine learning, and natural language processing, with a focus on developing and optimizing deep learning models. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and formatting large data sets for machine learning applications, performing natural language processing with an emphasis on entity extraction, and designing deep learning models. You will also optimize machine learning processes through feature selection, metrics analysis, and adjustments to architecture and hyperparameters. The position requires proficiency in Python and familiarity with essential data processing and machine learning libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch. Experience with large language models (LLM) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) is also crucial. Additionally, you will deploy models into larger systems and monitor their real-time performance, utilizing tools such as Docker, GitHub/GitLab, and Jira. The successful candidate will have between seven to fourteen years of experience in software engineering within similar programs and contracts, along with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline. Alternatively, four years of additional SWE experience may substitute for the degree. A TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph is required for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, clean, and format large data sets for machine learning applications.

Requirements

  • Seven (7) to fourteen (14) years of experience as a Software Engineer (SWE) in similar programs and contracts.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Four (4) years of additional SWE experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
  • Proficiency in Python programming language.
  • Experience with large data set analysis, cleanup, and formatting for machine learning.
  • Familiarity with data processing and machine learning libraries including NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
  • Experience with natural language processing and machine learning techniques for entity extraction.
  • Experience with large language models (LLM) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
  • Experience deploying models into larger systems and monitoring performance.
  • Security clearance TS/SCI with polygraph required.
