The AI/ML Engineer position at Node.Digital is a mid-level role focused on the design, maintenance, and optimization of intelligent automation solutions that incorporate AI and machine learning technologies. This position is crucial for ensuring operational efficiency and continuous refinement of integrated AI/ML solutions. The engineer will act as the architect and guardian of these solutions, utilizing technologies such as AWS and Microsoft to deliver state-of-the-art enterprise solutions to both government and commercial clients. The role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and resolving issues that may arise post-implementation, ensuring that the solutions remain effective and efficient over time. In this role, the engineer will explore options to build automation with embedded artificial intelligence or machine learning, supporting continuous improvement, learning, and augmented decision-making. A significant part of the job involves building repeatable intelligent solutions and bots for tasks such as document processing and data cleansing. The engineer will be expected to be familiar with various technologies and methodologies, including RAG, model integration, model tuning methodologies, data operations, synthetic data generation, bias monitoring, drift monitoring, and the construction of AI/ML pipelines for production AI. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five years of experience in automation engineering roles, particularly with a focus on AI/ML integrations. Effective communication skills for technical discussions, comfort with Agile methodologies, and the ability to work remotely are essential. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate adaptability to varying organizational structures and possess strong data analysis and data architecture skills.
