About the position

CGI is seeking an AI/ML Engineer with Sagemaker experience to join their team. This role involves designing and implementing scalable AI/ML solutions in a fast-paced environment, supporting one of the largest leaders in the secondary mortgage industry. The position can be performed remotely from anywhere in the U.S., and the engineer will work closely with top banking clients, utilizing emerging technologies in an agile setting.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable, efficient AI/ML solutions for various projects.
  • Use AI and big data analytic tools to predict and determine relationships and trends.
  • Develop new and improve existing AI/ML models operating on various forms of RF data to identify anomalies and events of interest.
  • Correlate complex technical findings into graphical, written, visual, and verbal narrative products.
  • Develop white papers, reports, and other documents including technical and programmatic assessments.

Requirements

  • 6-8 years of relevant experience in AI/ML/Sagemaker.
  • Strong engineering capabilities with experience in software development, systems architecture, and optimization.
  • Expertise in Kubernetes and other machine learning infrastructure (e.g., Docker, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams and mentoring junior engineers or data scientists.
  • Expert knowledge of working with cloud-based advanced data and analytics environments, such as SageMaker, AnyScale, or similar.
  • Expertise in programming languages like Python.
  • Experience in building and validating models, text mining, and working with large structured and unstructured data sources.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills.
