About the position

The AI/ML Engineer with Sagemaker will play a crucial role in designing and implementing scalable AI/ML solutions within a fast-paced team environment. This position supports one of the largest leaders in the secondary mortgage industry, utilizing innovative approaches and emerging technologies to deliver impactful results. The role involves working with big data analytics and machine learning to predict trends and identify anomalies, while also contributing to technical documentation and assessments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable AI/ML solutions for various projects.
• Utilize AI and big data analytic tools to predict and determine relationships and trends.
• Develop and improve existing AI/ML models operating on RF data to identify anomalies and events of interest.
• Correlate complex technical findings into graphical, written, visual, and verbal narrative products.
• Develop white papers, reports, and other documents including technical and programmatic assessments.

Requirements

• 6-8 years of relevant experience in AI/ML and Sagemaker.
• Strong engineering capabilities with experience in software development, systems architecture, and optimization.
• Expertise in Kubernetes and other machine learning infrastructure (e.g., Docker, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams and mentoring junior engineers or data scientists.
• Expert knowledge of cloud-based advanced data and analytics environments, such as SageMaker, AnyScale, or similar.
• Expertise in programming languages like Python.
• Experience in building and validating models, text mining, and working with large structured and unstructured data sources.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves
