About The Position
KBR is seeking a highly qualified AI/ML Engineer to provide support for the NRO Mission Operations Directorate (MOD). The MOD operates, maintains, and reports the status of intelligence satellites and their associated ground systems. This includes providing defensive space control and space protection, monitoring satellite flight safety, and offering space situational awareness. The role involves supporting innovation labs that are developing new tools, models, and algorithms to operate and exploit satellite space and ground systems. As an AI/ML Engineer, you will be responsible for developing intelligent algorithms capable of learning, analyzing, and predicting future events. You will turn these algorithms into AI models and systems, and then test, verify, validate, and maintain them. Your work will involve using large data sets to research, develop, and generate algorithms that can learn, assess, analyze, and organize data, as well as execute tests and optimize the learning process to help develop high-performance ML models.
