About the position

As an AI/ML Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the AI Center of Excellence, focusing on the development and implementation of advanced AI/ML solutions to tackle complex challenges within the organization. This position involves collaboration with various teams to integrate AI capabilities into business applications, ensuring effective adoption and optimization of machine learning models across multiple enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable machine learning models using platforms such as Databricks, Azure ML, or Palantir.
• Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) into applications and optimize their use for specific customer needs.
• Evaluate generative model predictions using LLMs-as-a-Judge frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver tailored AI-driven solutions.
• Optimize machine learning models for performance, accuracy, and scalability using advanced techniques.
• Build and optimize inference engines/servers for training and inference processes.
• Implement advanced data preprocessing techniques and feature engineering to enhance model performance.
• Monitor, debug, and troubleshoot AI systems to ensure optimal functionality and reliability.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies, particularly in LLMs.
• Create comprehensive technical documentation for internal and customer-facing purposes.
• Contribute to the growth of the AI Center of Excellence by sharing best practices and mentoring others.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience in AI/ML development, or a Master's degree with 3+ years, or a Ph.D. in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML development and implementation, including 3+ years integrating LLM solutions.
• Experience in evaluating RAG Chat Bots using LLMs-as-a-Judge frameworks.
• Proven experience in observability, monitoring, and debugging AI/ML systems.
