About the position

The AI/ML Engineer at GAP Solutions Inc. will facilitate the coordination and implementation of the CDC's AI/ML strategy and enterprise roadmap. This role involves project management activities, data science support, and the development of training materials for internal and external partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI and ML, focusing on developing and deploying models and applications to drive business value.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement CDC's AI/ML strategy and enterprise roadmap.
• Perform project management activities related to AI/ML initiatives.
• Provide data science support and develop training materials for partners.
• Collaborate with data engineers and team members to create innovative AI/ML solutions.
• Evaluate RAG Chat Bots using LLMs for automated evaluation.
• Develop and deploy machine learning models using Databricks, Azure ML, or Palantir.
• Create data engineering pipelines and work with Agile methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models using Databricks, Azure ML, or Palantir.
• 3+ years of experience developing AI/ML applications integrating LLM into Databricks or Palantir.
• Experience with CI/CD processes and Agile methodologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Vector Databases.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination.
