About the position

The position is for a Computer Vision Engineer or Researcher at KLA, focusing on developing AI-enabled semiconductor inspection equipment. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with KLA's AI and HPC centers of excellence.
• Further product roadmaps through applied R&D.
• Drive innovation through hackathons and engineering conferences.
• Generate patent filings to enhance KLA's technical IP portfolio.

Requirements

• Doctorate (Academic) Degree and 0 years related work experience; or Master's Level Degree with 3 years related work experience; or Bachelor's Level Degree with 5 years related work experience.
• Subject matter expert in Computer Vision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for rapid prototyping algorithms using MATLAB or Python.
• Experience implementing algorithms in C++ software under Linux.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with Sensor Fusion techniques.
• Knowledge of Linear and Nonlinear Optimization techniques.
• Experience with CUDA/GPU Programming frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow).
• Proficiency in Data Analysis and Visualization tools.
