About the position

The AI Product Manager at Siemens EDA is responsible for leading the development and implementation of AI-enabled solutions across the Siemens EDA product portfolio. This role combines technical expertise in AI with strong product management skills to ensure that products meet market needs and align with business objectives. The position focuses on creating innovative solutions that enhance the electronic design automation software offerings, enabling customers to build comprehensive digital twins that integrate hardware and software design with manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the product vision and strategy for generative AI initiatives.
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and iteration.
  • Collaborate with engineering across Siemens EDA BUs, data science, marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful rollout of AI-enabled solutions with product market fit.
  • Conduct research to identify trends and opportunities in the generative AI space.
  • Ensure products are designed with user needs in mind, gathering feedback to drive improvements.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in product management, particularly in AI or software development.
  • Strong understanding of generative AI technologies and their applications.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Core product management skills, including understanding product lifecycle management.
  • Proficiency in market research and user experience design.
  • Familiarity with generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, DALL-E).
  • Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and data processing.
  • Skills in crafting effective prompts for AI models to generate desired outputs.
  • Ability to align AI product strategies with overall business goals.
  • Understanding of unique value propositions (UVPs) for AI products.
  • Strong skills in cross-functional collaboration with engineering, design, and marketing teams.
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics to inform product decisions and improvements.
