About the position

The AI Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the program and project management of multiple AI and automation products throughout their lifecycle. This role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure that business objectives are met while managing scope, timeline, budget, and technical risks. The manager will provide guidance on best practices in program management and work closely with delivery leaders to execute projects effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with AI managers and directors to coordinate and lead multiple medium to high complexity AI and automation products.
  • Define program and project plans/roadmaps, including scope, budget, and schedule, for multiple simultaneous AI products or a single highly complex AI program.
  • Work with partner teams across portfolios to define scope, track execution, and visualize the full scope for AI products.
  • Collaborate with development and application teams to break down work into smaller components and identify critical paths.
  • Monitor risks, issues, and scope proactively, ensuring appropriate priority, visibility, and escalation.
  • Drive testing and acceptance of AI product outcomes across multiple teams.
  • Communicate plans, risks, schedules, and updates to stakeholders, sponsors, and project teams.
  • Mentor and coach other AI Program Managers.
  • Build partnerships to collaborate, influence, and communicate effectively with all AI product teams.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Business Administration, or related discipline preferred.
  • Advanced-level experience and specialized knowledge in project management.
  • Advanced experience preparing presentations for Executive Leadership.
  • Knowledge of JiraAlign, Jira, and SAFe.
  • Knowledge of Technology Initiative Review (TIR) process and PMO process.
  • Advanced experience delivering Epics and Features in coordination with Architecture, Project Management, Delivery, and Quality Management partners.

Nice-to-haves

  • Strong understanding of AI technologies and their application in solving business challenges.
  • Ability to analyze data, conduct market research, and develop business strategies.
  • Knowledge of the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle, including data preparation, model building, and deployment.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD of AI applications.
  • Expertise in analytics and visualization tools to explain insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Advanced knowledge of Agile development practices and ceremonies.
  • Strong financial acumen to interpret corporate financial analysis and financial statements.
