About the position

As a Research Scientist at ZoomAI, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of AI through innovative research and development. Your primary focus will be on incubating AI models, algorithms, and techniques that will drive the next generation of business applications. You will collaborate closely with a team of experienced researchers and engineers, engaging in AI projects that promise to yield exciting results. The AI incubation team is dedicated to pioneering breakthroughs in AI, including foundational techniques and AI-native applications that significantly enhance productivity in the workplace. In this role, you will be responsible for incubating foundational techniques for Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), which includes developing new model structures, optimization techniques, and distributed learning algorithms. You will also work on creating game-changing AI applications that have the potential to make a substantial impact on business operations. Collaboration is key, as you will be working with cross-functional teams to address unique product challenges. Additionally, you will contribute to the growth of the AI research community by authoring research papers for conferences and journals, sharing your findings and insights with peers in the field.

Requirements

  • Solid foundation in AI research or strong engineering practice in large scale distributed systems.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C, C++, or CUDA, and experience with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch, Transformers, and Deepspeed.
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, Distributed Systems, or a related field (in progress or completed).
  • Demonstrated dedication to AI through sharing academic or personal AI projects and enthusiasm for exploring new possibilities.
