About The Position

The AI Strategy Leader will play a pivotal role within Ascensus' Transformation team, focusing on the development and execution of the AI strategy, AI use case framework, and governance. This position is essential for defining how AI can be leveraged across the organization to enhance operational efficiency and drive innovation. The AI Strategy Leader will collaborate closely with the Head of Transformation, IT, and the AI Steering Committee, ensuring that AI initiatives align with the company's strategic goals. The role will also involve overseeing an AI Strategy Analyst who will assist in research and analysis to support the strategy's implementation. In this capacity, the AI Strategy Leader will be responsible for designing frameworks that facilitate use case ideation, prioritization, and value realization. This includes engaging with consulting partners to develop cutting-edge solutions tailored for the financial services industry. The leader will also be tasked with ensuring that identified use cases are integrated into the technology roadmap and transitioned effectively to product owners for delivery. Continuous engagement with scrum teams will be necessary to monitor prioritization and delivery strategies until the anticipated value is achieved. Additionally, the AI Strategy Leader will define and implement AI governance structures, working collaboratively with various departments such as IT, Legal, Risk & Compliance, Marketing, and HR. This governance framework will be crucial for ensuring responsible AI practices and managing associated risks. The leader will chair regular Steering Committee meetings and develop materials for governance forums, including updates for senior executives. The role requires a strong commitment to protecting confidential data and upholding the company's core values of integrity, quality, and respect for people.
