About the position
Outlier is seeking experienced English writers to assist in training generative AI models. This remote, freelance opportunity offers flexible hours, allowing contributors to work at their convenience. Writers will engage in reading and writing tasks to evaluate and enhance AI-generated content.
Responsibilities
- Reading English text to rank responses produced by an AI model
- Writing and rewriting prompts and responses, including research and fact-checking
- Assessing the factuality and relevance of AI-generated text
Requirements
- Experience as a professional writer or editor
- Currently enrolled in or completed a bachelor's degree or higher in a writing-related discipline
- Strong writing style with exceptional English spelling and grammar
- Attention to detail and ability to articulate strengths and weaknesses of text
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with AI or machine learning concepts
- Familiarity with content creation tools
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
