About the position
The Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) at Genesis Healthcare plays a crucial role in providing direct and indirect care to patients and residents under the supervision of Registered Nurses. This position is essential for assisting individuals with their daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. The LNA is also involved in the care planning process and is responsible for reporting any changes in the condition of patients and residents.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients and residents with their Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, etc.
- Report changes in patient and residents' condition, patient/family concerns or complaints to charge nurse and/or supervisor.
- Participate in the care planning process.
Requirements
- Successful completion of a state approved certified nursing assistant program.
