About the position

The Aide-Mental Health position at Lourdes Health involves assisting in the daily operations and safety of the Crisis Triage Facility. This role requires a strong focus on customer service, a positive attitude, and a commitment to providing care and respect to patients, coworkers, and families. The position is designated as safety-sensitive and requires the ability to work with a culturally diverse population.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Crisis Triage Facility.
• Monitor environmental and daily activities to ensure safety.
• Provide excellent customer service with a positive and friendly demeanor.
• Show utmost care and respect for patients, coworkers, and families.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience assisting persons who have experienced mental health problems preferred.
• Must have or apply for a Washington State Agency Affiliated Counselor within seven days of employment.
• Possess current Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFTA), Licensed Advance Social Worker (LASW), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Licensed Social Work Associate & Advanced (LSWAA) as defined by the Washington State Department of Health.
• Must have/obtain current CPR/First Aid within 30 days of hire.
