About the position

We are seeking an experienced engineer to design, set up, and maintain machine learning and code development infrastructure for a team engaged in groundbreaking ML robotics research. The role involves collaboration with researchers and software developers to implement various systems and methodologies essential for machine learning applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Python and C++ code build and development machinery.
• Maintain machine learning data collection, storage, indexing, and retrieval systems.
• Set up cloud execution pipelines for various ML workloads.
• Develop methodologies to deploy machine learning models to physical robots.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or related field.
• 5 years of experience with devops work and ML data pipelines.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of the bazel build system.
• Knowledge of Python and C++, particularly with respect to build and deployment.
• Familiarity with robotics and associated middleware.
• Some familiarity with the data and infrastructural needs of modern ML algorithms.
