About the position

At Apple, we are at the forefront of redefining human-computer interaction, and we are looking for a collaborative Senior Leader to oversee our Global AIML Data Operations team. This role is pivotal in coaching, mentoring, and guiding established leaders to inspire quality, innovation, and strong performance within their teams. You will be responsible for the strategic impact of the organization, instilling trust in the leadership team, and fostering deeper collaboration with core partners to optimize workflows and enhance business performance. As a strategic thinker, you will navigate complex business issues with a thoughtful and organized approach, ensuring that your teams are aligned with Apple's vision of excellence. In this position, you will lead teams across multiple sites in the US, EMEIA, and APAC regions. Your responsibilities will include overseeing policies and procedures, conducting quality audits, and collaborating with cross-functional partners to develop tools and reports that analyze and run the business effectively. You will focus on workflow optimizations, workforce management, and volume predictions, reporting on status, achievements, and goals to partners and leadership. Your role will also involve mentoring and inspiring your teams to deliver innovative ideas and high-quality results, determining staffing requirements, and participating in the hiring and onboarding of new leaders. With a strong analytical mindset, you will drive quality and performance to achieve organizational goals, ensuring that your teams are equipped to succeed in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Global AIML Data Operations team across multiple sites in the US, EMEIA, and APAC regions.
• Oversee policies, procedures, and quality audits to ensure operational excellence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop tools and reports for business analysis.
• Optimize workflows, manage workforce, and predict volume to enhance operational efficiency.
• Report on status, achievements, and goals to partners and leadership.
• Mentor and inspire teams to deliver innovative ideas and high-quality results.
• Determine staffing requirements and participate in the hiring and onboarding of new leaders.
• Drive quality and performance to achieve organizational goals.

Requirements

• 15+ years of senior leadership experience in Operations or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
• Fluent in English with global experience leading geographically dispersed teams.
• Strong quantitative and decision-making skills with the ability to synthesize large amounts of data into actionable plans.
• Proven success in providing vision and strategy while leading high-performance teams in a dynamic, global organization.
• Consistent track record of operational results and making informed decisions based on analysis and experience.
• Deep knowledge of data reporting and excellent analytical skills.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, to all levels of an organization.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with meticulous attention to detail.
