About the position

Responsibilities

• Design and implement machine learning algorithms for user-facing interactive conversational features.
• Leverage multi-modal foundation models for rapid prototyping and iteration.
• Develop evaluation strategies to translate product requirements into objective metrics.
• Oversee data collection and evaluation efforts to ensure rapid and measurable progress.
• Collaborate with hardware engineering, software engineering, and design teams to develop prototypes and evolve them into production systems.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science or other STEM majors.
• Experience with the use and evaluation of foundation models.
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (Pytorch or Tensorflow).
• 2+ years of hands-on industry experience building and evaluating Machine Learning or Natural Language Processing systems.

Nice-to-haves

• PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning or a related technical field.
• 4+ years of hands-on industry experience with Machine Learning systems.
• Proficiency in training and evaluation of foundation models and frameworks.
• A track record of publications or technical presentations in Machine Learning journals or conferences.
