About the position

In this senior leadership role at Apple, you will be instrumental in aligning the priorities and methodologies of the ML Systems Evaluation Engineering team, ensuring optimal execution of evaluation and testing for AIML products. Your focus will be on delivering offline automated evaluation insights that drive model and product development while maintaining Apple's high privacy standards. You will oversee release qualification readiness, foster collaboration across teams, and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Align ML Systems Evaluation Engineering team priorities and methodologies.
• Ensure optimal execution of evaluation and testing for AIML products and components.
• Deliver offline automated evaluation insights that drive models and product development.
• Maintain high-quality standards while fostering accountability and transparency.
• Cultivate collaboration with peers and partners across AIML and Apple.
• Provide strategic oversight and act as a key liaison for partners.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in engineering leadership roles.
• Proven track record of forming senior partnerships to solve complex technical problems at scale.
• MS in Machine Learning, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and familiarity with AI testing methodologies, data validation, and model performance metrics.
• Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and tools (like Jenkins, AWS) and continuous integration pipelines.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
