About The Position
At Apple, the AIML - On-Device Machine Learning group is dedicated to enhancing the creation of exceptional on-device machine learning experiences. This group is responsible for products like Core ML, which is an external-facing product that showcases the capabilities of on-device machine learning. A key mission of this group involves profiling, analyzing, and optimizing machine learning inference performance across a diverse range of machine learning models, Apple devices, and processors. These capabilities are already being utilized by various partner teams within Apple, including those working on CPU, GPU, Neural Engine, speech understanding, Camera, Photos, and VisionPro, as well as by external app developers.
