About the position
The AIOPS System Engineer at GDIT is responsible for advancing the mission and optimizing business strategies through the implementation of AIOPS solutions. This role involves leading engineering efforts, supporting program teams, and integrating various AI/ML-enabled tools to enhance IT operations for clients. The engineer will also create demonstration materials and connect GDIT's capabilities to customer requirements, ensuring tailored solutions for mission success.
Responsibilities
- Lead engineering and implementation of integrated toolchain-based capabilities in the Lab.
- Support program teams with project strategy, toolchain implementation, and troubleshooting needs.
- Research and identify solution capabilities from AI/ML-enabled tool vendors that fit customer requirements.
- Create new integrations and capabilities for dynamic demonstration and mission-specific use cases.
- Develop demonstration work products, including PowerPoint slides, videos, and marketing materials.
- Connect GDIT Enterprise IT Automation capabilities to customer requirements for contract opportunities.
- Collaborate with Solutioning, System Engineering, and ITSM Factory teams to deliver optimal solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a Business-related field.
- 10+ years of progressive technical implementation and team leadership experience.
- Strong communication, analytical, and time management skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience working with Government Customers.
- Technical knowledge in automation solutions relevant to IT Enterprise.
- Experience with tools such as ScienceLogic, Tanium, Splunk, Tenable, Dynatrace, ServiceNow, VMware.
