About The Position

The Air Cargo Office Agent at Air France is responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of cargo shipments and luggage while adhering to safety and security protocols. This role involves data entry, preparing flight documents, interfacing with U.S. Customs, and managing import/export documentation. The agent also engages with customers for sales and delivery estimates, while complying with air carrier and DOT regulations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age if driving cargo handling equipment.
• Valid driver's license and Port Authority or Airport Authority permit (if applicable).

• Ability to learn PC skills and apply knowledge.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Drive all cargo handling equipment.
• Retrieve import/deliver export documents to and from aircraft.
• Report to work on a regular and timely basis.
• Prepare all flight documents and manage cargo distribution in compliance with regulations.
• Interface with U.S. Customs and prepare import/export documentation.
• Solicit orders and engage with customers to complete sales.
• Quote prices and terms, and prepare sales contracts for orders obtained.
• Estimate delivery dates based on company schedules.
• Comply with WFS site security procedures and report any security breaches.
