About the position

The Department of the Air Force (DAF) Installation Planning Program Analyst position at Leidos involves supporting the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Energy, Installations, and Environment. This role focuses on facilitating and reviewing policies and real estate activities aimed at reducing infrastructure costs across the DAF installation enterprise. The position requires collaboration with various government entities and the preparation of documentation for high-level audiences, all while primarily working remotely with periodic visits to the Pentagon.

Responsibilities

• Support the identification, facilitation, and implementation of installation-level real estate opportunities to reduce DAF infrastructure costs or increase cost-sharing.
• Develop and track metrics for success related to DAF's infrastructure reduction initiatives.
• Create, coordinate, and maintain program governance and programmatic documents for SAF/IE Installations Planning.
• Prepare staff packages and products for Senior Executive Service, General Officer, or Presidential Appointee-level audiences.
• Coordinate and collaborate with OSD, Joint Staff, and other government offices to respond to queries and support SAF/IEI programs.
• Utilize the DAF Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2) to complete assigned taskings on time.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum of 12 years' experience with DAF or DoD corporate processes
• Experience engaging in strategic partnerships with OSD or other DAF organizations
• Substantial knowledge in installation and mission support areas
• DoD Secret Clearance

Nice-to-haves

• Experience supporting Headquarters Air Force or Headquarters Space Force
• Familiarity with the Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2)
• Experience working directly with AFIMC and AFCEC
• Experience identifying or executing DoD real estate transactions
• Experience with Air Force Installation Planning functions
