About the position

The Air Logistics Gateway & Procurement Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel is responsible for managing inbound air import shipments, ensuring quality service and compliance with regulations. This role requires collaboration with various teams to optimize logistics processes and maintain strong vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and ongoing commitment to quality and data integrity.
• Interact and collaborate closely with the air import departments in the region.
• Arrange bookings with carriers and optimize cargo consolidations.
• Ensure timely processing and pickup from the airport, maintaining constant communication with the warehouse team and truck dispatch.
• Track and trace shipments, monitor vendor performance, and address service irregularities.
• Contribute to maintaining strong relationships with vendors and internal customers.
• Maintain compliance standards at all times, including internal policies and procedures, external government regulations, and customer requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of air logistics experience.
• 2+ years of customer service experience.
