About the position

The Air Logistics Manager at Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) is responsible for overseeing the operations at Sky Harbor Airport, ensuring efficient management of air cargo logistics and ground handling services. This role involves directing supervisory personnel, monitoring staffing requirements, and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction, safety, and compliance with corporate security programs and TSA legislation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the sorting, scanning, and movement of packages and containers in both a warehouse and ramp environment.
• Monitor and administer discipline and corrective action for subordinates.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through daily feedback and act as a liaison between first-level supervisors and upper management.
• Proactively monitor the work of assigned employees to ensure compliance with safety, security, quality, and employee relations standards.
• Read, understand, and clarify the implementation of the site-specific security plan.
• Administer practices in a fair and equitable manner, treating all employees, customers, vendors, and third parties with respect.

Requirements

• College degree or equivalent work experience.
• Two to five years of previous management/specialist supervisory experience in a warehouse/logistics/manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading teams of 20 - 40 personnel.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and days off as needed.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous logistics, manufacturing, or warehousing experience.
• Familiarity with personal computer software.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and written and oral communication skills.
