About the position

The Air Logistics Warehouse Manager at Worldwide Flight Services in Toledo, OH, is responsible for overseeing the operations of the warehouse and ramp areas. This role involves managing supervisory personnel, ensuring compliance with corporate security programs, and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction, safety, and employee relations. The manager acts as a liaison between first-level supervisors and upper management, ensuring that all operational aspects meet or exceed company standards.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervisory personnel within assigned warehouse or ramp functional areas.
• Oversee staffing requirements and monitor/administer discipline/corrective action for subordinates.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through daily feedback and proactive monitoring of employee performance.
• Maintain compliance with corporate security programs and TSA legislation.
• Administer company audit requirements to ensure continuity and compliance.
• Clarify and implement site-specific security plans and ensure staff display relevant company IDs.
• Coordinate the sorting, scanning, and movement of packages and containers in the warehouse and ramp environment.

Requirements

• College degree or equivalent work experience.
• Two to five years of previous management/supervisory experience in a warehouse/logistics/manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading teams of 20 - 40 personnel.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the WFS Employee Handbook.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous logistics, manufacturing, or warehousing experience.
• Familiarity with personal computer software.
