About the position
The Air Logistics Warehouse Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel is responsible for managing the logistics of receiving, processing, storing, and shipping inventory. This role is crucial for ensuring that inventory is handled efficiently according to purchase orders and shipping schedules, contributing to the overall success of the Air Logistics team.
Responsibilities
- Receiving, checking, palletizing, shrink wrapping, and storing inventory.
- Verifying and receiving materials into inventory.
- Marking and inventorying packages for storage or transit.
- Working from pick sheets to pull products or supplies.
- Checking orders against pull sheets.
- Using material handling equipment to unload incoming materials from trailers.
- Working overtime and weekends as needed.
- Performing other responsibilities as required.
Requirements
- Minimum of a High School or Technical degree.
- 1+ years of experience in a warehouse environment.
- Experience working with warehouse equipment such as scanners and forklifts.
