About the position

The Air Quality Engineer position at Geosyntec involves supporting Capital Projects by applying project management and engineering skills to deliver services for various industrial and municipal sector clients. The role focuses on managing multidisciplinary projects, ensuring quality management, and enhancing client satisfaction while contributing to the company's growth and technical leadership in environmental engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Task and project management, including planning and implementing multidisciplinary projects.
  • Apply project management tools for budgeting and schedule adherence.
  • Assist Client Manager and technical resource specialists in managing client expectations.
  • Implement quality management practices to maintain work product quality.
  • Engage and coordinate project resources and subcontractors for project execution.
  • Provide technical input and review of project deliverables.
  • Support company initiatives regarding project execution.
  • Collaborate to identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Prepare for and participate in meetings with clients and regulatory personnel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (required).
  • At least 5 years of experience in engineering and project management (7+ preferred).
  • Strong background with applied process engineering (preferred).
  • Experience with industrial manufacturing businesses (preferred).
  • Experience managing large capital project development (required).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of local, state, and federal codes and regulations (preferred).
  • Experience managing multi-disciplinary project teams (required).
  • Valid U.S. driver's license and satisfactory driving record (required).

Nice-to-haves

  • Advanced degree in engineering (preferred).
  • Ability to obtain PE license in chemical or environmental engineering within 24 months of employment (preferred).
  • Experience in the development and approval of sales plans and tracking goals and metrics (required).
