About the position

The Aircraft Assembler II role is focused on the independent fabrication and assembly of major aircraft components, including fuel systems, electrical systems, flight control systems, and landing gear. The position requires proficiency in reading blueprints, using hand tools, and basic metalworking skills. The assembler will also be responsible for troubleshooting electrical systems and maintaining a clean work environment while identifying process inefficiencies to enhance productivity through LEAN principles.

Responsibilities

  • Independently fabricate and assemble major aircraft components such as fuel systems, electrical systems, flight control systems, and landing gear.
  • Read and follow blueprints accurately.
  • Use hand tools effectively for assembly tasks.
  • Perform basic metalworking skills including trimming, deburring, and riveting.
  • Install and troubleshoot electrical systems as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Identify inefficiencies and suggest improvements using LEAN principles.
