About the position

The Aircraft Avionics Tech I position at AAR Corp. involves performing routine repair and engineering work associated with heavy aircraft maintenance checks. Responsibilities

• Perform routine repair and engineering work associated with heavy aircraft A, B, C, and D checks.
• Demonstrate detailed knowledge of aircraft avionics and electrical systems.
• Understand engineering methodology for systems installations.
• Complete all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Minimum of 5+ years previous aviation/aircraft experience.
• Must have airframe and powerplant (A&P) certificates, FCC license, and/or repairman certificate.
