About the position

The Aircraft Interior Alternate Lead at AAR Corp. is responsible for overseeing the work of technicians in the aircraft maintenance sector, ensuring that all aircraft paperwork is completed accurately and that safety and quality standards are met. This role involves establishing work priorities, providing leadership, and interacting effectively with customer representatives to ensure timely delivery of services.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and accurately complete all aircraft paperwork to ensure safety and timely delivery.
• Provide leadership for technicians and establish work priorities to assist the Lead.
• Ensure work performed adheres to high quality standards.
• Supervise the work of up to 10 Technicians.
• Effectively interact with customer representatives.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Over 2+ years aviation maintenance experience.
• FAA Airframe certification or Repairman's Certificate required.
• Knowledge of FAA regulations including 14 CFR.
• Proven leadership abilities, including personal responsibility and superb attendance.
• Strong judgment and decision-making skills.
• Time management skills to organize and manage multiple priorities.
• Fluent in English (speech, reading, writing).

Nice-to-haves

• Powerplant license (A&P).
• Valid Driver's License.
