About the position

The Aircraft Interior Alternate Lead is responsible for overseeing the work of technicians in the aircraft maintenance department, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and safely. This role involves establishing work priorities, providing leadership, and ensuring adherence to high-quality standards in aircraft paperwork and maintenance processes.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and accurately complete all aircraft paperwork to ensure safety and timely delivery.
  • Provide leadership for technicians and establish work priorities to assist the Lead.
  • Ensure work performed adheres to high quality standards.
  • Supervise the work of up to 10 Technicians.
  • Effectively interact with customer representatives.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Over 2 years aviation maintenance experience.
  • FAA Airframe certification or Repairman's Certificate required.
  • Knowledge of FAA regulations including 14 CFR.
  • Proven leadership abilities, including personal responsibility and superb attendance.
  • Strong judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Time management skills to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Fluent in English (speech, reading, writing).

Nice-to-haves

  • Powerplant license (A&P) preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License preferred.
