About the position

The Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic at Rite-Hite Holding Corp is responsible for performing daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance and inspections of the corporate aircraft, ensuring their safe operating condition and compliance with FAA regulations. This role involves coordinating with the Director of Aircraft Maintenance to address routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance and inspections of corporate aircraft.
• Conduct minor inspections and pre & post flight inspections.
• Utilize CAMP to determine necessary maintenance based on aircraft maintenance programs and FAA requirements.
• Weekly check of aircraft systems including landing gear, lubrication, and cleanliness to prevent corrosion.
• Coordinate with the Director of Aircraft Maintenance to verify no open discrepancies and ensure paperwork is up to date.
• Use parts from the Rite Hite parts crib for maintenance and repairs.
• Conduct preventative maintenance prior to scheduled major inspections to reduce downtime and costs.
• Maintain Milwaukee Mitchell Badging requirements and taxi certification for aircraft operations.
• Occasionally fuel the corporate aircraft.

Requirements

• Experience in aircraft maintenance and inspection.
• Knowledge of FAA regulations and aircraft maintenance programs.
• Basic troubleshooting skills for aircraft discrepancies.
• Ability to maintain accurate maintenance documentation.
• Familiarity with corporate aircraft, specifically Gulfstream models.

Nice-to-haves

• Completion of recommended initial, recurrent, and advanced classwork through Flight Safety International.
• Master Technician certification.
