Executive Jet Management (EJM), a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, is seeking qualified Maintenance Mechanic candidates for a Challenger 300 aircraft based in Tampa, FL (KTPA). The position is crucial for ensuring the welfare of passengers in all aspects of cabin safety and service. The successful candidate will be trained and proficient in the appropriate portions of Abnormal and Emergency procedures, as well as all areas of cabin systems and operations. This role is part of a six-pilot account currently supported by two Maintenance Technicians and one Cabin Attendant, flying under part 91 regulations. The Full Managed Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) will be responsible for performing all phases of troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance on company aircraft and component parts. This includes dismantling, repairing, and assembling machinery and mechanical devices, as well as the exchange and replacement of electrical equipment or components. The AMT is also responsible for inspecting required items and maintaining company-operated aircraft in a continuously airworthy condition in accordance with applicable Federal Air Regulations (FARs). Knowledge of GIV and G550 aircraft is considered a plus. Key tasks include performing or overseeing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft, including engines, landing gear, instruments, and other parts as required. The AMT will also be responsible for repairs and services of hangar, shop, and ground support equipment, ensuring compliance with tool calibration requirements, and communicating all inspections and calibrations with the EJM Fleet Department. Safety regulations, including hazardous waste management, must be adhered to at all levels. The role may require travel to airport locations for Aircraft on Ground (AOG) repairs or to accompany the owner aircraft for test flights or troubleshooting. The AMT will coordinate the release of aircraft with the EJM Fleet Department and perform receiving inspections on all incoming parts and components. The position demands a commitment to the company's goals for safety, security, and quality, ensuring continual compliance with the company Safety Management System (SMS) program.
