About the position

AAR Corp. is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic I - A&P, ideal for experienced aviation maintenance professionals with FAA Airframe certification and over 5 years of aviation maintenance experience. This full-time position involves performing heavy maintenance tasks, ensuring aircraft safety, and maintaining compliance with FAA regulations. The role is based onsite at Will Rogers World Airport in Oklahoma City, OK, and offers a flexible work schedule with varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform heavy maintenance tasks with minimal supervision.
• Conduct flight control and engine throttle rigging.
• Execute aircraft maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting tasks.
• Ensure aircraft are maintained according to Airworthiness Standards.
• Utilize FAA approved/accepted data proficiently.
• Maintain records in compliance with FAA and company requirements.
• Perform airframe repairs while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
• Read and follow technical publications, schematics, and mechanical drawings.
• Use a PC, iPad, and basic computer applications.
• Adhere to work schedule and demonstrate punctuality and self-motivation.
• Complete additional job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of aviation maintenance experience.
• FAA Airframe certification.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to skillfully use minimum required tools.
• Knowledge of FAA regulations including 14 CFR.
• Fluent in English (speech, reading, writing).

Nice-to-haves

• Powerplant license (A&P).
• Valid Driver's License.
