About the position

The Senior Aircraft Mechanic position at EagleForce Foundation involves working on private Gulfstream aircraft, ensuring they are maintained to the highest standards of safety and performance. The Senior Aircraft Mechanic will be responsible for conducting inspections, troubleshooting issues, and performing repairs on various aircraft systems, including engines, avionics, and airframes. The ideal candidate will have experience with Gulfstream aircraft and be familiar with FAA regulations and safety standards. The role may also involve mentoring junior mechanics and providing guidance on best practices in aircraft maintenance. Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of Gulfstream aircraft to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues in aircraft systems and components.
  • Perform necessary repairs and maintenance on engines, avionics, and airframes.
  • Document all maintenance activities and ensure accurate record-keeping in accordance with FAA regulations.
  • Mentor and train junior mechanics on maintenance procedures and safety practices.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an aircraft mechanic, with a focus on Gulfstream aircraft.
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification is required.
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, components, and maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with other private jet models is a plus.
