About the position

The Aircraft Parts and Services Field Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales growth by engaging with potential clients, conducting product demonstrations, and managing accounts within a designated territory. This role requires a blend of aviation technical knowledge and strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate the value of the company's products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Visit aircraft maintenance facilities, flight schools, and fleet operators to introduce them to the company's aircraft parts and services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing accounts while actively pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Generate leads through networking, referrals, and research to expand the customer base.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales strategies with promotional campaigns.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations tailored to the needs of MRO, 141, 145, and Part 91 potential customers.
  • Track sales activities and maintain accurate records of interactions in the CRM system.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to identify opportunities for growth.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in inside or outside sales or field sales in an aviation or aerospace maintenance and aircraft operations sales environment.
  • Strong business development skills with a track record of successful lead generation and account management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with aviation clients at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and proficiency in using technology for sales processes.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prefer a pilot or licensed airframe and powerplant mechanic with experience at reading IPCs, RSMs, and working knowledge of the aircraft parts and maintenance industry.
