About the position

The Aircraft Research Analyst at Omni Aircraft Sales is responsible for analyzing market conditions to identify growth opportunities within the aircraft industry. This hybrid role requires the candidate to be based in or near Tulsa, OK, and to work in the office as needed. The analyst will track various aircraft markets, compile data, and provide insights to management and stakeholders to support sales and operational strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Proactive tracking and documenting of various aircraft markets.
  • Analyze data and information to find ways to improve sales and future opportunities.
  • Inform and advise various levels of management and stakeholders.
  • Develop and conduct market surveys.
  • Research market and industry trends and patterns.
  • Organize and store data for future research projects.
  • Document all data and research procedures.
  • Compile and analyze data points.
  • Building and update market summaries.
  • Daily searches of various sources for any changes to the aircraft markets.
  • Compile and distribute a daily report to sales and management teams.
  • Compile and distribute weekly market recaps of all activity for each market for the preceding week.
  • Weekly audits of all reporting to ensure accurate performance/reporting.
  • Proactive procurement of all specs sheets, ask prices, sold prices, and applicable information for all aircraft currently being tracked.
  • Identifying aircraft that meet the requirements of a client and/or inventory needs.
  • Lead in the development of aircraft specification sheets for new aircraft listings.
  • Participation in OAS company meetings as applicable.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, aviation management, communications, or marketing preferred.
  • Two years experience in an applied research or data management environment, economic, quality assurance, or relevant position.
  • Aviation background desired but not required.
  • Must be passionate about a career in business aviation.
  • Prior experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional communication, attention to detail and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Desire for continuous improvement and willingness to embrace role variations that come with company growth.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated.
  • Ability to work independently and be accountable for the successful completion of required job functions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with technical writing skills a must.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
