About the position

The Aircraft Structures Lead at AAR Corp. is responsible for providing leadership to a team of mechanics, overseeing all aspects of aircraft repairs and modifications. This role ensures that all aircraft paperwork is completed accurately to maintain safety and timely delivery of services. The position requires a high level of proficiency in aircraft repair processes and the ability to establish work priorities while effectively interacting with customer representatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for mechanics in the repair and modification of aircraft.
• Monitor and accurately complete all aircraft paperwork to ensure safety and timely delivery.
• Establish work priorities and supervise the work of up to 15 mechanics.
• Interact effectively with customer representatives.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year related aviation sheet metal experience and/or training.
• Hold a minimum of an airframe (A) license.
• Previous experience in warehousing, handling inventory, and bar code equipment.

Nice-to-haves

• Powerplant (P) license is preferred but not mandatory.
