About the position

The Aircraft Structures Mechanic position involves performing essential maintenance on aircraft structures components to ensure safety and efficiency. The role requires a strong understanding of aircraft mechanics and compliance with relevant regulations, focusing on inspections, repairs, and detailed record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance on aircraft structures components.
• Develop and maintain records of maintenance, repairs, inspections, and any reports related to parts or services.
• Inspect and examine various types of structures components to identify cracks, corrosion, or other defects.
• Consult maintenance manuals and specifications to identify correct operations and specifications for replacements or repairs.
• Install new parts to replace or repair defective or recalled parts or to enhance the performance of the structures components.
• Repair sheet metal as needed.
• Identify and resolve mechanical problems based on visual inspections or reports from customers.
• Maintain all documentation related to inspections, repairs, and reassembly of structures components.
• Follow all Federal, company, and OSHA regulations while performing maintenance.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
