About the position

The Aircraft Systems Integration Engineer will support the C-17 Program Office within the Mobility directorate at Robins Air Force Base. This role involves performing systems engineering tasks, including systems design and integration, airworthiness, and configuration management, while ensuring compliance with USAF standards and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform systems engineering including expertise in systems design and integration.
  • Execute AFPD 62-6, USAF Airworthiness through standardized processes and issuance of flight authorizations.
  • Assist in reviewing, developing, and updating applicable program documentation for systems engineering relevant requirements/issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-Accredited program and fifteen (15) years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree in engineering from an ABET-Accredited program and twelve (12) years of relevant experience.
  • Five (5) years of Government Acquisition experience.
  • Knowledge of systems engineering in support of system definition, development, integration, verification methods, sustainment, risk modeling/simulation, testing and evaluation, human system integration (HSI), crew stations engineering, OSS&E efforts, interoperability requirements, and airworthiness certification.
