About the position

The Aircrew Training Support position at McGuire AFB involves providing essential support for aircrew training operations. The role includes updating training data, coordinating class schedules, and ensuring compliance with Air Force Instructions. The position is critical for maintaining the readiness and performance of aircrew members through effective training management and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Updates training data in Graduate Training Integration Management System (GTIMS) or equivalent systems.
  • Interfaces with Host Aviation Resource Management (HARM) and Squadron Aviation Resource Management (SARM) personnel to update the Aviation Resource Management System (ARMS).
  • Builds, reviews, and updates student/permanent party records, folders, and grade books per applicable Air Force Instructions (AFI).
  • Coordinates scheduling of classes and exams with various external agencies.
  • Performs individual gradebook checks of squadron personnel operational and ancillary training requirements.
  • Prepares and executes periodic training/testing plans for approval and scheduling.
  • Schedules members for required ground training events in accordance with unit policies.
  • Provides weekly updates to squadron leadership on flight and readiness status of personnel.
  • Assists in the development of new curricula and syllabi for aircrew and ground training.
  • Generates reports/forms to assist with support squadron operations.

Requirements

  • Experience as a USAF aircrew member or in a USAF Squadron, Group, or Wing training program.
  • Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) Flying Squadron, Group, or Wing training program.
  • Experience as a DoD flying unit scheduler.
  • Experience working with GTIMS or similar proprietary training documentation program preferred.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and customer relations skills.
  • Must have an active Secret Security Clearance.
  • Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
