About the position

To continue our standard of excellence, Piedmont is seeking a motivated, reliable professional to join our team as an Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic. This position is responsible for completing routine inspections and repairs; performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance; and running tests after making repairs. The successful candidate will hold a valid Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant certificate and a valid driver's license. This position reports to the Manager, Aircraft Maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Complete and document routine inspections and repairs
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance; may include, but is not limited to, engines, landing gear, exteriors, brakes, and pumps
• Conduct tests after making repairs or performing maintenance on company fleet

Requirements

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification
• Valid driver's license
• Proof of high school or GED completion
• Minimum 18 years of age
